Empowering students in taking ownership of their education and their lives.


4Aspects Skills for Success have been serving the Denver metro area sense 2004. Hundreds of students have benefited from the program.

An evaluation of the Colorado Trust’s three-year Bullying Prevention initiative “shows that bullying declined when adults and students were willing to intervene, treat each other fairly and show they care. The findings also show that schools with less bullying had higher scores on the Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP) in reading, writing and math,” according to the Colorado Trust.

"I was forced to join the gang at an early age. I lived in an environment that was both physically and emotionally abusive. My family was gang and I felt no hope for the future. The 4Aspects gave me the hope I needed."

The 4Aspects gave me not only hope and the strength to face myself. 4Aspects also had my back during the whole jumping out process. Now I am in my third year of college and away from the streets. Mission

To create a holistic learning environment that respects and supports all aspects of the students – Personal, Family, Social, and Professional. 4ASFS empowers students to take ownership of their education – achieving personal, academic and social success.

Vision

Vision of the 4Aspects™ Skills for Success program is four fold, to support the students in:
  • Building a positive Self-esteem (that will support healthier life choices)
  • Taking ownership of their education
  • Taking responsibility for the affect they have on their family, school and community.
  • Being successful in college and work

    • RESULTS

    1. The results in four separate eighteen month studies show that the 4Aspects™Skills for Success program proved to have a:

           1. 75% success rate at LARASRA Learning Centers
           2. 80% success rate at Aurora Central High Schools
           3. 90% success rate at PS1 Chart High School (DPS)
           4. 80% success rate at DC-21 (DPS middle & high school)

      Success of the program is based on: Attendance, behavioral interventions and academic improvement.
